18" x 24" Wooden Insect Display Case
Developed to meet 4H Insect Collecting Display Case recommendations, this extra large economically priced wooden display case is for collectors of all ages, both professional and amateur.
Each corner is carefully mitered, fastened and glued to provide solid, durable joints.
Newly Improved: now with a 1/2" thick dense white foam pinning base instead of a fibrous material, making pin holes disappear, yet allowing even the thinnest of insect pins to be easily yet firmly positioned. The white surface helps to accent the mounted specimens. (note pictures show previous fibrous pinning base)
Outside 18" x 24" x 3" dimensions with approx. a 1 1/2" inside distance between the pinning surface and the top cover
Impact resistant plastic cover provides protection for your collection and slides open for easy access and is sized to extend approx. 3/4" beyond the wooden frame for easy grip ability.
'Slide-in' design allows for the plastic cover to be easily replaced should it ever become scratched or damaged in the future. This is a feature not found in other display cases.

Except for a few subtle characteristics, it is very similar to our # 4H1824, only at a much lower price yet with many of the same features.
18" x 24" x 3 3/8" outside dimensions 2 inch inside clearance between the pinning surface and the top cover Clear, impact resistant, plastic sliding top cover extends approximately 3/4" beyond the wooden frame for easy grip ability. 'Slide-in' design allows for the plastic cover to be easily replaced should it ever become damaged, a feature not found in other display cases.
